A raise of hands if you’re stressed out? Even a little bit? I’m struggling with the go go go right now. I really need to destress. So the list below is one I'll be following and I hope it works for you too.

Declutter

Throw out everything non-essential. Trim down your clothes. Get rid of things cluttering your closets and cabinets. I actually love decluttering and reorganizing, especially while listening to music, and possibly while drinking wine.

Unplug

Keeping up with writing, blogs, my youtube channel, social media, family, friends, emails, etc is time consuming. I feel like I’m always on my device or computer and I don’t want that. I don’t want to feel like I need to be on it. I also know I probably watch too much tv but it is what it is right now, it’s an easy way to save money. Cody and I recently talked about being more intentional with our time, especially our time as a couple, and part of that is unplugging.

Meditate/Pray

I haven’t meditated before but I want to start. And I want to pray more. I think yoga would be good to add here too; I want to do yoga more often to help my body and my mind.

Enjoy the Outdoors

Let the sun kiss your skin, let the breeze ruffle your hair. In my area its humid as heck, but I love being outdoors, especially by the pool. Try to relax.

Enjoy Family & Friend time

This is hopefully a time for you to breathe deep and breathe easy. Soak up memories and the feelings of comfort. Bask in the love and laughter.

Me Time

Recharge: Window shop. Take a bath. Work out. Read. Get a massage. These are a few of my favorite things….Do whatever puts you at ease, whatever your favorite thing is.
